Mission
The mission of the Sts. Vartanantz Church Sunday School is to encourage our children to learn and practice the spiritual principles and teachings of the Christian faith. This is accomplished according to the doctrines, sacraments, rites, and traditions of the Armenian Apostolic Church through a curriculum developed by the Armenian Religious Education Council of the Prelacy.
Our teachers work hard at creating lessons which focus on the love of Christ and how we are to live a life according to His teachings. Our hope is that these lessons provide the encouragement for our children to emulate Christ’s love through friendship, kindness, charity and prayer.
Periodically, we also join together for special programs throughout the year. These “special Sunday’s” include group lessons with corresponding activities and crafts. It is our goal that these events nurture godly friendships with the focus on doing God’s work.
